Fencing: The Woodland Trust
The client: The Woodland Trust
The site: Tring Park
The brief: The site is to be a new woodland creation site and extension to existing landholding at Tring Park. As part of the works the site needed to be fenced with part deer and part stock fencing to protect newly planted trees. This will include the installation of approximately 1.7km deer and 0.8km stock fencing alongside the installation of pedestrian and management gate.
Our solution: Maydencroft won the tender for this project in December 2018. There was a tight deadline to ensure that all fencing was completed by February so that The Woodland Trust could begin planting up the trees. Therefore, as soon as we had won the job, we ordered all the materials and began work on the first working day of January.
The result: The fencing is set to be complete before schedule allowing The Woodland Trust to begin planting as and when they desire.
