BS 5837 survey and report

When granting permission for any new development, local authorities have a statutory obligation to fully consider the protection of trees.

Our consultants have a great deal of experience in managing tree-related planning issues, and can prepare and submit applications to the local planning officer for carrying out surgery works on trees covered by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs), or those located within Conservation Areas.

When planning consent requires you to produce BS 5837 documentation, our consultants can produce all the plans and reports required to support your application, including:

• Tree surveys and constraints plans
• Arboricultural Impact Assessments
• Arboricultural Method Statements
• Tree Protection Plans
• Landscape Mitigation and Maintenance plans.

Once the development is underway, we can provide an Arboricultural Clerk of Works service to monitor progress, give on-site construction advice, and submit monitoring reports to the local planning authority if required.
