Subsidence mortgage reports

Owning or buying a property with onsite or offsite trees can be a cause for concern – and your insurance or mortgage provider may well request a detailed survey.

Our arboricultural consultants are experienced in surveying trees and looking for any issues that could have an impact on property. They’ll work hard to fit in with time pressures and ensure no undue delays – while giving an honest appraisal of whether the property is at risk or not, and always being transparent with report costs.

The process covers an assessment of the types of trees present, their location, the age and structure of the property, and the soil types to determine whether there is any direct or indirect risk to structures.

The resulting report will recommend any works required, and considerations for future management.
