For The Woodland Trust

New access road for creating England’s largest native woodland

Snaizeholme is one of the boldest habitat restoration projects in the English uplands. The Woodland Trust acquired almost 1,400 acres of land last in 2022, and we are extremely proud to be helping them in this unique and complex project.

Led by Digger Cooke-Hurle, Team Maydencroft has begun work on the new access road for the creation of a new wildlife haven, providing habitats for rare species including red squirrels and black grouse.

The project has been featured by The BBC, The Times, The Guardian, The Independent and many more news outlets.
