The client: Affinity Water

The site: Sites across Essex, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Surrey.

The brief: Carry out the cyclical ground’s maintenance works.

Our solution: To facilitate the contract we employ full time, dedicated, permanent employees spread across our three offices, which are situated in specific geographic locations to enable to best possible service. Our GM Contracts Manager supported by onsite supervisors manage the contract and team’s day to day and are responsible for ensure that the best equipment is utilised. To the assist our dedicated GM team, our forestry and arboricultural teams help manage hedges in the winter.

The result: Our years of experience carrying our grounds maintenance on behalf of Affinity Water has allowed us to gain a tremendous amount of knowledge of all sites which ensures we always have the necessary equipment on site such as remote-controlled mowers for sites with steep slopes where a ride on mower can not be used. All our GM operatives are trained to identify evidence of invasive species and protected species on site. Operatives will notify Affinity Water when any evidence of these species are noted. Maydencroft have in house Environmental Consultants and Ecologists who can then ensure the work is undertaken lawfully.
