Daniel Lovelace

Grounds Team Leader

Daniel started his career at college studying Horticulture level 3. During the year he developed a wide range of knowledge and new skill sets which centred on the study of arboriculture and horticulture. After gaining sufficient experience working within this industry for a private tree surgery and gardening company he was offered the chance to fulfil a work-related apprenticeship based on horticulture at John O’Conner. The apprenticeship involved both practical and theoretical study, which lead to him to achieving success in a Level 2 course.

Dan has a willingness to develop new skills within this industry and regularly visits the gym to ensure that a high level of fitness helps him achieve his high standard at work.

Dan says... "having strong relationships with people is very important, especially within a team where each member has the same goal of completing a task quickly and to the best of their ability. I try my best to help others where possible and to teach them skills I have learnt over the years of work I have completed."

Dan manages the grounds maintenance contract for the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation on behalf of Maydencroft.
