Since 2015 a group of volunteers have been restoring an abandoned Victorian Fernery. Maydencroft has been helping them and this time specialist equipment was needed to put a new bridge in place.

The fernery was constructed in 1860 and now forms part of the Danesbury Local Nature Reserve near Welwyn, the volunteers are doing an amazing job restoring this heritage gem.

The bridge was built by CDI and installed by us on behalf of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
