I began my career in the arboriculture industry 2 years ago and quickly developed a real passion for the work. From my very first day, I was drawn to the combination of outdoor environments, technical skill, and the challenges of climbing, something that continues to drive me today.
Before moving into arboriculture, I worked in outdoor education, delivering a variety of water sports alongside land-based, climbing, and rope activities. This background gave me a solid grounding in safety, teamwork, and working confidently in physically demanding and high-responsibility environments.
Over the years, I’ve built extensive hands on experience and am fully qualified in key areas of the industry, including chainsaw cross-cutting and maintenance, felling, aerial rescue, and cutting from a rope and harness.
I take pride not only in delivering high-quality work, but also in helping others reach their potential and get the most out of themselves.
Outside of work, I’ve always been heavily involved in sport and the outdoors. I’ve played lacrosse and skateboarded for over 25 years, both of which have shaped my resilience, balance, and determination. I’m also a keen rugby supporter and enjoy following the game.
I remain committed to continuous learning, personal development, and maintaining high standards in everything I do both individually and as part of a team.
