Starting his career in agriculture, Chris moved to Maydencroft in 2010 as an Environment and Landscaping Operative. Adapting to the growth of the business Chris fulfilled many roles before settling into the office as Contracts Manager, earning an oversight and understanding of the business at all levels.
As Tree Planting and Aftercare Manager Chris has extensive experience delivering standard tree planting of all sizes, woodland creation plans and landscape establishment projects across the UK. He specialises in managing projects from planning and procurement through to implementation and long-term aftercare, ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients, communities, and the environment.
With a strong background in environmental contracting, Chris is passionate about creating sustainable landscapes and helping trees thrive beyond planting. He works closely with landowners, local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver practical, efficient, and environmentally responsible solutions.
“Maydencroft is ideally positioned to help contribute towards the Government’s ambitious targets for net zero by 2050. The conversation around carbon sequestration, natural capital and urban shading make this an exciting time to be involved in planting and maintaining trees. There is a huge importance in this role and its place in securing the environment for generations to come.”
