Principal Ecologist

Alice joined Maydencroft as an Intern in September 2018 and has since worked her way up to being Principal Ecologist. She manages the Ecology team and takes a leading role in the delivery of protected species surveys, Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Ecological Impact Assessment, and BNG baseline assessments and strategies.

Alice has excellent field skills and holds her European Protected Species (EPS) Level 2 Great Crested Newt license and Level 2 Bat license. Alice also holds the Lantra Professional Tree Inspector qualification. Her skills extend to proficiency in QGIS which she uses to create baseline habitat maps and proposals.
