Jez started his career in conservation in South Wales, volunteering at the local Nature Reserve. After graduating with a degree in B.Sc. Hons Rural Environment from Trinity College, Carmarthen, Jez moved to the Chilterns. Since then he has worked for a number of organisations in both the public and private sector as a Countryside Ranger, Projects Officer and Land Management Consultant.
Jez now has over 20 years’ experience in designing and managing complex habitat restoration and creation projects, compiling site management plans, identifying and securing external grants and offering land management advice.
In his spare time, Jez works on a voluntary basis for Butterfly Conservation, managing their only reserve in Hertfordshire and is a Full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
