Lewis, known as “Chewy” to many, has been a cornerstone of Maydencroft Arb Contracting since joining in 2013, combining extensive hands-on experience with leadership and operational expertise.
A fully qualified arborist, Lewis assists with the running of our Arboricultural Association-approved tree surgery teams, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest technical and safety standards. In his assistant contracts manager role, he supports the wider management team while remaining on the ground, guiding, supervising, and mentoring crews day to day. His practical approach and wealth of experience make him a trusted point of reference for colleagues and clients alike.
Lewis is particularly passionate about environmental stewardship, ensuring all arboricultural works are sensitive to habitats, biodiversity, and the wider landscape. This mirrors Maydencroft’s commitment to sustainable, responsible land management.
Known for his calm leadership, reliability, and ability to motivate teams, Lewis is highly respected across the business and plays a key role in nurturing the next generation of arborists.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
