According to Wildlife and Countryside Link (WCL), @wcl_news representing 86 organisations working together to support and enjoy the natural environment, England’s rivers are flowing with bee-killing pesticides – with tests showing a slight proportion increase since last year.

Their analysis with @theriverstrust found that 85% of tested rivers contain deadly neonics.

Sites on the River Waveney and River Wensum in the East Midlands had the worst results, with all 5 of the neonics analysed for detection.

These pesticides are supposed to be banned - Government must extend & enforce this to protect nature.
