Maydencroft has won the Contractor of the Year Award for Japanese Knotweed.
Tabitha Shell, Nature Recovery Assistant, and Victoria Jackson, Nature Recovery Consultant, accepted the Property Care Association award at the Telford International Centre. The award recognises the team's dedication to delivering high-quality work in Japanese knotweed surveying, report writing, and control.

Lottie Wood, Senior Nature Recovery Consultant also gave us this update: “I am delighted that Maydencroft Limited has been awarded Small Contractor of the Year for Invasive Weeds by the Property Care Association (PCA). This is the third time we have been named contractor of the year in this category, which shows we consistently meet high standards and provide our clients with a quality service. We pride ourselves on being able to offer an end-to-end service, which means we can look beyond invasive weed control to ensure we achieve the best outcomes for our clients and the environment; that might include ecology surveys before Himalayan balsam control or Japanese knotweed control recommendations within our Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) reports. Achieving this prestigious award has only been possible because we are fortunate to have a dedicated and skilled team of project managers, surveyors and control technicians; thank you, and keep up the excellent work!”
The PCA presents the Contractor of the Year award to companies that excel in all business aspects. These awards are not judged but are based on members’ audit scores, with the highest-scoring company receiving the accolade.

This is the third time in three years that we have won this award, and we are very grateful to the judges for recognising our dedication to this environmental service we provide.
