Mike, Contracts Manager for the Landscape and Environment team, has provided an update on an exciting project the team is working on.
They are installing a 245-metre-long boardwalk using ground screws for support, a departure from traditional methods. This innovative approach allows them to revitalize a very wet and boggy woodland area that has been unusable for the past 18 months due to flooding. The project involves three teams and includes images of the site before work begins.
Apart from the ground screws, the materials were all REVIVE Recycled Plastics Ltd.
Further updates will be shared upon completion.
