Here is an exciting update from Matt Perry, Environment Director:

"We have four new arrivals to the Maydencroft team at Panshanger Park. Joining our rangers and English Longhorn cattle, Iron Age pigs will be helping out with the management of wildlife habitats.

The pigs will create just the right amount of natural ground disturbance to increase the park's biodiversity. The pigs' natural soil-turning behaviour helps some plant, animal, and bird species. We have several specific areas in mind for them, and you'll see them move around Panshanger Park occasionally.

The pigs are part of broader biodiversity and habitat creation projects on the Tarmac-owned site. Over the next few months, we will update you on their location and the best places to see them."
