Here is a recent decking job that our Landscape and Environment team completed in Wheathampstead. The community is a retirement home, and many residents are elderly. The job took six months to complete.

The team used REVIVE Recycled Plastics Ltd for all the posts, subframes, and Neotimber composite material for the decking and balustrading.

The team replaced the wooden decking, which was dangerous for the residents.

However, removing the old structure took work as it was the only access point for the residents. As their front doors were raised, they could only be accessed from the decking. The team had to carefully plan their work to minimise the impact on the residents.

There was great feedback about the results and the team involved.
