Maydencroft is proud to be involved with The Woodland Trust Snaizeholme project.

It is one of the boldest habitat restoration projects in the English uplands. This film follows up on the earlier tree planting and track works, bridge works, barn restorations and stock fencing/cattle grazing in the valley bottom.

It is a unique habitat restoration and nature recovery project 20 miles north of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Here, near Hawes, the Woodland Trust is looking to create one of the most significant new plastic-free native woodlands in England.

Maydencroft is delighted to be involved in this complex conservation work due to the range of habitats and species, the topography and elevation. Tree planting will exist alongside massive restoration projects, including 280 acres of upland peat bog, 180 acres of limestone pavement and over 200 acres of riverside meadows following Snaizeholme Beck.
