On Tuesday 4th February at the Scottish Government and Amenity Forums ‘Amenity Management in Scotland’ conference, The Amenity Standard was launched. In recent years there has been greater public and political interest in the methods used for managing weeds, pests and diseases in public spaces. In particular, concerns have been focused on the use of chemical products. The Amenity Standard is designed to provide reassurances that if contractors can demonstrate they hold the standard then the methods they use are safe and their operatives are fully trained to undertake them.

The strict criteria required to comply with the Property Care Association (PCA) membership means we now hold The Amenity Standard; our membership confirms our status as experts in the control and management of invasive species, capable of offering the highest levels of technical knowledge and practical skill.

Please call the office if you would like advice on invasive weed control and management.
