Tree safety inspection

Maydencroft Limited was commissioned by a real estate consultancy to undertake a Tree Safety Inspection of all trees on and adjacent to all roads, public rights of way, boundaries and tenanted properties within the Fences Farm Estate in Tyringham.

This survey covered a vast area surrounding the historic rural village comprising a variety of different land uses including racehorse training grounds, public footpaths along the River Great Ouse, agricultural land and farming property, and woodland, some areas of which were ancient and ancient semi-natural woodland.

Clear maps to assist tree management

Our surveyors used tree management software onsite, which enabled them to accurately record location using GPS. Tree data and tree condition was then entered into the software. Trees requiring remedial works were allocated a works priority timeframe, which assists the land owner in delivering works according to their work priority. Our Consultants used this data to form a comprehensive tree survey schedule and creation of digital maps. This provided our client with a clear image showing the exact location of trees, colour coded depicting their work priority timeframe.

Our surveyors identified a number of standing dead roadside trees, and these were allocated a work priority to be completed within 3 months.
