Countryside Stewardship application and ongoing estates management
In partnership with Natural England, we helped our client apply for and project-manage an agricultural higher-tier Countryside Stewardship.
A true team effort
In 2018, we worked closely with our client, plus Natural England and the tenant farmer, to develop a Countryside Stewardship application. At every stage, we ensured we fully understood their aspirations for the scheme, and that any agreed options could be implemented and managed efficiently.
Rolling out the results
Then in 2019, we were appointed to provide a bespoke estates management service to monitor the roll-out and management of the scheme. This included implementation of the catchment-sensitive farming options, auditing the scheme (including soil samples, botanical transects and field visits) and ensuring the smooth employment of the agreed capital items.
