Tree survey and arboricultural management in a private estate

For the Quorn Estate in Leicestershire, we carried out a comprehensive tree survey, successfully recording and tagging 3000 trees to inform future plans.

A survey to exacting standards
For this Tarmac-owned estate, we undertook a comprehensive tree survey to BS5837:2012 standard, covering all trees around the house, pleasure grounds and parkland.

Using the most advanced technology

Our work involved recording the accurate location and details of every single tree, creating a series of maps and tree schedules, and producing an arboricultural management plan. Our two-person team of arboricultural consultants surveyed the estate using advanced GPS technology, and tagged and recorded around 3000 trees.

All information was uploaded onto CAD drawings supported by excel spreadsheets. As a result, we made recommendations for remedial works and more general arboricultural, ecological and landscape management.
