Invasive Species Survey and control for Japanese knotweed

Via a detailed survey, we were able to treat and eradicate Japanese knotweed and several other non-native species from a site in Iver, Buckinghamshire.

A five year plan
We carried out a detailed survey of the area, and found Japanese knotweed, giant hogweed, Himalayan balsam and orange balsam.

Each patch was individually recorded and photographed to aid future monitoring – and a five year eradication plan was written, with priority areas identified to help focus budgets, and the treatment process was started.

“Maydencroft have provided us with a seamless service; from initial survey, followed by clear and practical management plans, right through to treatment and eradication.” J. Merrill, Asset Surveyor at Affinity Water.
