Refurbishment of a footbridge

Hartham Common’s footbridge was in need of an update, so we stepped in and constructed one that was attractive and safe.

A bridge and kissing gate
To meet our client’s brief of refurbishing the footbridge on the common, we supplied and installed all the materials ourselves.

These included timber kick boards, made up of pressure-treated softwood timbers, a large mobility kissing gate, and manufactured bespoke metal wings at both ends. The final touches were to cover all metalwork on the bridge, kissing gate and estate fencing with hardwearing black paint.
