Timber works at Amwell Nature Reserve

Working closely with our client’s landscape architect, we built fencing, boardwalks, a bridge and seats for this beautiful nature reserve.

A dedicated team for wide ranging work
We deployed dedicated teams on a full-time basis to meet our client’s highly specific brief. Our work included small scale demolitions, minor grading and timber fencing, and the installation of wooden gates, boardwalks, viewing platforms and steps.

An ‘island of respite’
We also refurbished timber seats, and installed a new timber bridge, while restoring and relocating an old cast iron bridge. The reserve was officially opened by Hillary Benn MP, then Government Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, who praised the reserve as an ‘island of respite’.
