Elizabeth's originally intended career was in the hotel industry, beginning with her degree in Hospitality Management at the University of Derby. After graduating in 2003 she worked for three hotel groups; firstly for Champneys, then Thistle Hotels and lastly, Hotels London (which was an early entrant into the new internet hotel booking sector during the fast growing dot com bubble). In these companies she worked in various aspects of Sales and Reservations and developed her professional experience and strong customer service skills.
When Hotels London was taken over in 2009 by a larger company in the industry, Elizabeth decided to switch careers and moved into administration and accounts at Alexon, a large women's fashion group, in the Luton Head Office. She joined the Imports Admin Department before moving to a Sales Ledger role in 2012. She later moved to another Sales Ledger role at Cranfield University before joining Volac International in Credit Control during 2016.
Elizabeth always looks to use her customer service skills to aid efficient and effective credit control. She gained a Diploma in Credit Management (Distinction) in 2018.
Outside work, Elizabeth mostly enjoys spending time with family and friends but also likes travel, theatre visits, museums and art galleries.
