    St. Ippolyts United, the local Sunday side at the inaugural game in their Maydencroft strip.
    It was a wet and windy day but St. Ippolyts, playing at home against Hitchin Rangers, won 5-4.
    Despites the stormy conditions, there was no problem with picking out the players in their bright orange shirts!

    Restoration of Princess Helena College's orchard complete

    The Maydencroft team has completed the restoration of the orchard at Princess Helena College. The orchard was part of a garden design by Gertrude Jekyll, which was executed sometime between 1909 and 1923. The new design replicates what is known of the original.
