Jay Crighton-Rook

Contracts Manager

We welcomed Jay to our Maydencroft team in September 2023. Before joining us, Jay started his career within the British Army as a Member of the Royal Military Police. After serving overseas for multiple years, he decided it was time to return home to the UK for a new challenge.

Once back in the UK, Jay became an Operations Manager for a Landscaping Business in St Albans, and after two years, decided to move into civil construction, specifically Cranes and heavy Lifting.

Jay continued developing his lifting expertise and site management skills, gaining excellent construction site management and operations knowledge. He has worked in some of the most significant construction and civil engineering projects in the UK, such as the Thames Tideway Super Sewer and HS2.

After Jay had worked within the city for a few years, he soon realised his heart truly laid with the countryside, and environmental management, and made the decision to move into construction management within the world of Landscaping and the Environment.

Jay has since worked with some of the biggest names in the business, which has enabled him to develop his skills into becoming an experienced and knowledgeable manager within his field.

“I am now keen to pursue my career as a Contracts Manager for Maydencroft, focusing on construction and project management with a forward-thinking, innovative and environmentally friendly company. I hold high standards and values and take pride in delivering outstanding service to our clients and driving our business forward to transform the world around us for the better”.
