    Maydencroft is registered UVDB Achilles. Achilles is a global leader in supplier management and supply chain solutions.

    As a qualified supplier on the UVDB database it enables us the opportunity to tender for large contracts, whilst reducing risk for us and potential buyers.

  • Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor

    Maydencroft is an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor a national tree surgery competence accreditation scheme covering the following key areas:

    High standards of work and tree knowledge, uncompromising approach to Health and Safety, competent working practices, comprehensive record keeping, efficient administrative procedures and high quality customer care.

    The accreditation exhaustively tests all aspects of our operation and management, and most importantly, it tests the ‘sharp end’ by visiting work sites and assessing work-in-progress.

    Maydencroft demonstrates its commitment to the next generation by being a member of The 5% Club, an industry led initiative focused on driving momentum into the recruitment of apprentices, graduates and sponsored students. We have pledged to having a minimum 5% of our workforce enrolled on formalised apprentice, sponsored student and/or graduate development schemes

    Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises very high standards in health and safety management among UK contractors.

  • The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme

    Maydencroft is an accredited member of The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme.

    Being CHAS approved ensures that suppliers' compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers. CHAS assesses applicants' :

    Health and safety policy statement
    Their organisation for health and safety
    Their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to CHAS buyers and to others.

  • Property Care Association (PCA)

    Maydencroft is Property Care Association (PCA) accredited for invasive weed control.

    The PCA is the leading body for Japanese Knotweed Control best practice. Maydencroft is one of only a small handful of firms nationally that are accredited Japanese Knotweed consultants and contractors.

    We are a qualified accredited contractor in Amenity pesticide application through BASIS Amenity Assured.

    Amenity Assured provides annual assessment so we can offer professional pesticide services and advice to local authorities, as well as industrial, utility and environmental sectors.

    The Amenity Standard is designed to provide reassurances that if contractors can demonstrate they hold the standard then the methods they use are safe and their operatives are fully trained to undertake them.

    The strict criteria required to comply with the Property Care Association (PCA) membership means we now hold The Amenity Standard; our membership confirms our status as experts in the control and management of invasive species, capable of offering the highest levels of technical knowledge and practical skill.

  • Trust Mark

    By being members of the PCA, this also grants us Trust Mark membership for invasive weed control. Our customers can have complete peace of mind that we will follow industry best practice for invasive weed control.

  • Forestry Industry Safety Accord (FISA)

    Maydencroft is a corporate member of the Forestry Industry Safety Accord (FISA). As one of a number of leading forestry organisations, we have joined together to form FISA which sets out the industry commitment agreed by each organisation to raise the standard of Health, safety and welfare in the work place.

  • Royal Forestry Society

    Maydencroft is a corporate member of The Royal Forestry Society, and many of the team are active members. MD Tom Williams chairs the Home Counties Division. Founded in 1882, the RFS is dedicated to the wise management of trees and woodlands and to increase people's understanding of forestry.

  • Grown In Britain

    Maydencroft has an approved Grown in Britain certification mark.

    The UK imports many products carrying unwanted pests and diseases capable of ravaging our woods and forests.

    In conjunction with the Government and other organisations, they will conduct research, supply chain development, and certification to ensure we lessen the risk.

    Only the Grown in Britain logo guarantees that timber has been grown legally in the UK by the UK Government Timber Procurement Policy and conforms to the UK Forestry Standard.

    Maydencroft is part of Woodsure, the UK's only quality certification scheme, which makes us a responsible, trustworthy fuel producer.

    This certification demonstrates that we produce and deliver fuel that meets industry standards for the end user's heating system.
